Abstract

Abstrak   Artikel ini disusun dengan tujuan guru IPA khususnya guru kimia mampu mengajarkan konsep ikatan kimia terintegrasi dengan berbagai bidang ilmu. Mata Pelajaran IPA (sains) adalah sebagai sarana untuk memahami alam dan melatihkan pola pikir siswa dalam menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan yang berkaitan dengan objek IPA. Amanah kurikulum menghendaki IPA dibelajarkan secara terpadu (terintegrasi) sesuai dengan namanya yaitu IPA Terpadu (Sains Terintegrasi). Mata pelajaran kimia merupakan salah satu bagian dari sains itu sendiri yang memiliki peran sejajar dengan cabang-cabang sains lainnya, seperti fisika, biologi, geologi, dan astronomi. Ikatan kimia merupakan salah satu materi yang dikaji dalam mata pelajaran kimia khususnya pada kelas X sesuai dengan K-13 yang berlaku. Sesuai tuntutan K-13 bahwa pembelajaran IPA termasuk kimia harus diajarkarkan secara terintegrasi. Salah satu konsep kimia yaitu ikatan kimia. Konsep ikatan kimia ini dapat dikaitkan dengan berbagai bidang ilmu seperti ilmu kimia, fisika, biologi, geologi, serta astronomi. Selain itu, konsep ikatan kimia juga dapat dikaitkan dengan beberapa aspek kehidupan seperti bidang lingkungan, kesehatan dan keselamatan serta teknologi sehingga pemahaman siswa akan lebih bermakna dan menyeluruh terhadap konsep ini. Kata-kata kunci: ilmu pengetahuan alam, sains terintegrasi, ikatan kimia   Abstract   This article was compiled with the aim of the Sciences teacher especially the chemistry teacher being able to teach the concept of integrated chemical bonds with various fields of science. Sciences Subjects are as a means to understand nature and train students' mindset in solving various problems related to the objects of Sciences. The mandate of the curriculum requires that science be taught in an integrated manner (integrated) in accordance with its name, namely Integrated Sciences. Chemistry is a part of science itself that has a parallel role with other branches of science, such as physics, biology, geology, and astronomy. Chemical bonding is one of the material that is studied in chemistry subjects, especially in 10th grade students according to the applicable 2013 curriculum. In accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum that learning Sciences including chemistry must be taught in an integrated manner. One chemical concept is chemical bonds. The concept of chemical bonds can be linked to various fields of science such as chemistry, physics, biology, geology, and astronomy. In addition, the concept of chemical bonds can also be linked to several aspects of life such as the environment, health and safety and technology so that students' understanding will be more meaningful and comprehensive about this concept.
