Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Balinese Bilingual textbook dengan konsep Menyama Braya bagi siswa kelas II SD Bali Hati. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk menghasilkan Balinese Bilingual textbook dengan konsep Menyama Braya bagi siswa kelas II SD Bali Hati yang berkualitas valid, praktis, dan efektif, (2) untuk mengetahui validitas Balinese Bilingual textbook dengan konsep Menyama Braya bagi siswa kelas II SD Bali Hati, (3) untuk mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan Balinese Bilingual textbook dengan konsep Menyama Braya bagi siswa kelas II SD Bali Hati, dan (4) mengetahui efektivitas dari Balinese Bilingual textbook dengan konsep Menyama Braya bagi siswa kelas II SD Bali Hati dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) menggunakan desain 4-D (Four D Designs) oleh Thiagarajan yang meliputi 4 tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop) dan diseminasi (disseminate). Tahap diseminasi (disseminate) tidak dilakukan karena tujuan, target, serta data kevalidan sudah didapatkan pada tahap pengembangan (develop). Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa-siswi kelas II SD Bali hati. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 orang siswa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, validasi, kuesioner, dan tes hasil belajar. Setelah data terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitiannya, yaitu: (1) Hasil penelitian validitas buku ajar berada pada kategori valid dan layak digunakan; (2) hasil penelitian menunjukkan buku ajar yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi syarat kepraktisan, yaitu: keterlaksanaan buku ajar, respon guru terhadap buku ajar, dan respon siswa terhadap buku ajar; (3) hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai tes hasil belajar siswa didapatkan rata-rata 82 dan dari 20 orang siswa mencapai ketuntasan 95% jika dilihat dari nilai KKM yang digunakan peneliti yaitu 75. Adapun nilai rata-rata motivasi diperoleh sebesar 91% dengan kategori tinggi. Oleh karena itu, buku ajar yang dikembangkan dapat dikatakan efektif; (4) terdapat beberapa kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam mengimplemantasikan buku ajar baik dari kesiapan guru dan siswa, namun telah dapat diatasi.

Abstract
This study aims to develop a Balinese Bilingual Textbook with the concept of Menyama Braya for second grade students of SD Bali Hati. The objectives of the study are (1) to produce a Balinese Bilingual textbook with the concept of Menyama Braya for second grade students of SD Bali Hati which has valid, practical, and effective quality, (2) to find the validity of Balinese Bilingual textbook with the concept of Menyama Braya for second grade students of SD Bali Hati, (3) to know the the level of practicability of Balinese Bilingual Textbook with the concept of Menyama Braya for second grade students of SD Bali Hati, and (4) to know the effectiveness of the Balinese Bilingual textbook with the concept of Menyama Braya for second grade students of SD Bali Hati in improving the students’ learning motivation in the classroom. The type of research used is research and development (R & D) using a 4-D design (Four D Design) by Thiagarajan which contains 4 stages namely; defining, designing, development, and dissemination. Dissemination stage was not done because of the objectives, targets, and validity data have been obtained on the development stage. The population in this study were students of second grade at SD Bali Hati. The population in this study was 20 students. Data were collected by using the observation technique, the validation, the questionnaires, and the learning achievement test. After the data collected, it was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this research are (1) The study results of the textbooks validity is in the valid category and it is suitable used; (2) the results of the study showed that the textbook developed have fulfilled the practical requirements, namely: the implementation of the textbook, the teacher's response to the textbook, and students' responses to the textbook; (3) the results of the study showed that the test scores of students’ learning outcomes obtained an average of 82 and from 20 students achieved 95% completeness when seen from the KKM value used by researchers which was 75. The average value obtained was 91% with a high category. Therefore, the textbook developed can be said effectively; (4) there are several obstacles that faced in implementing textbook both from the readiness of teachers and students, however those obstacles have been overcome.
