Peranan Guru Dalam Meningkatkan Keaktifan Siswa Pada Pembelajaran PPKn

Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil pengamatan dan pengalaman selama ini, siswa kurang aktif dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar. Siswa cenderung tidak tertarik mengikuti pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn). Selama ini PPKn dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang hanya mementingkan hafalan semata, kurang menekankan aspek penalaran, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya keaktifan belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa di sekolah. Pada umumnya guru selalu beranggapan, bahwa dirinya merupakan satu-satunya sumber belajar di kelas. Penelitian yang peneliti lakukan disini adalah penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Dwijendra Denpasar dan informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru PPKn Kelas VIII SMP Dwijendra dan beberapa siswa kelas VIII SMP Dwijendra. Dalam mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan, peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam pembahasannya digunakan metode deskriptif, yaitu metode yang menggambarkan keadaan yang terjadi dilapangan secara sistematis. Berdasarkan hasil keseluruhan dari wawancara dengan guru PPKn serta tabulasi hasil wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen yang berupa RPP mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VIII SMP Dwijendra mengenai peranan guru PPKn dalam meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran PPKn maka diperoleh hasil, bahwa peran guru PPKn dalam meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran PPKn berperan sebagai pengajar. Peranan guru PPKn dalam meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran PPKn lebih berperan selaku mediator dan fasilitator.
