Implementasi Metode Takling Stick pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kubu Semester Ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020

Abstract
Abstrak - Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap kreatif dan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris di kelas X MIPA 2 melalui implementasi metode Takling Stick pada pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas X MIPA 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Kubu Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus untuk mengukur sikap kreatif digunakan pedoman observasi sedangkan hasil belajar digunakan tes tulis. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan kriteria keberhasilan tindakan sesuai penilaian pembelajaran yang berlaku di SMA Negeri 1 Kubu. Hasil dan analisis data diperoleh bahwa: (1) Implementasi metode talking stick pada model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan sikap kreatif siswa kelas X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kubu pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Rata-rata sikap kreatif siswa meningkat dari 60,1 pada siklus I dengan kategori kreatif menjadi 70,5 pada siklus II dengan kategori kreatif. Hal ini mengindikasikan terjadi peningkatan sikap kreatif siswa sebesar 17,3%. (2) Implementasi metode talking stick pada model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa dan sastra Inggris siswa kelas X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kubu pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Hasil belajar siswa siklus I sebesar 74,6 ke siklus II sebesar 81,7 hal ini mengindikasikan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 9,5%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi metode Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan sikap kreatif dan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas X MIPA 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Kubu Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract - This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), and aims to determine the creative attitude and learning outcomes of English in class X MIPA 2 through the implementation of the Takling Stick method in problem-based learning. The research was conducted on students of class X MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Kubu for the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 32 students. This research was conducted in two learning cycles. To measure the creative attitude used observation guidelines while the learning outcomes used a written test. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis using the criteria for the success of the action according to the learning assessment that applies at SMA Negeri 1 Kubu. The results and data analysis showed that: (1) The implementation of the talking stick method in the problem-based learning model could improve the creative attitude of the students of class X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kubu in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The average creative attitude of students increased from 60.1 in the first cycle with the creative category to 70.5 in the second cycle with the creative category. This indicates an increase in students' creative attitude by 17.3%. (2) The implementation of the talking stick method in the problem-based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of English language and literature for students of class X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kubu in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 74.6 to the second cycle of 81.7 this indicates an increase in learning outcomes of 9.5%.
